Private Psychodynamic Therapy Course – Explore the Roots, Understand Yourself

Do you often feel emotionally overwhelmed, reactive in relationships, or unsure why you repeat certain patterns? This 10-session private therapy course helps you gently explore the deeper layers of your inner world, so you can better understand yourself and grow from within.

Each session is fully private, 90 minutes long, and guided by a certified therapist in a calm, natural setting at Wooden House Bangkok.

WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY

Evelyn M. – United States
I didn’t realize how much of my behavior came from things I hadn’t fully processed in childhood. A friend who did another therapy at Wooden House recommended this, and I joined during a sabbatical. The therapist was warm but also gently challenging — she helped me make connections I never saw before. It wasn’t always easy, but by session eight I felt something shift in how I related to myself. I’m no longer trying to “fix” myself, just understand — and that’s a huge relief.
Thomas L. – United Kingdom
I came into this course after a series of intense relationship breakups that all seemed to follow the same script. I found Wooden House through Instagram and booked impulsively — but it turned out to be the best decision I’ve made for my mental health. Psychodynamic therapy felt like slow excavation. Things I brushed aside years ago suddenly made sense. I left each session feeling a little more whole.
Lara K. – Germany
I’m usually skeptical of therapy. But I had reached a point where I didn’t know why I was stuck — professionally, personally, emotionally. I Googled therapy options in Bangkok, and this course stood out for its depth. Psychodynamic work was more layered than I expected. It wasn’t about changing habits overnight, but about seeing the story behind the habits. I’ve since made some of the most honest decisions of my adult life.
Yuki T. – Japan
What drew me to this course was the setting — a peaceful home that didn’t feel clinical. I’d been feeling emotionally distant from myself for a long time, and nothing else worked. Through these sessions, I discovered just how many of my reactions came from deep patterns I’d never questioned. I cried, I resisted, I learned. I now pause before reacting — and for someone with my history, that’s monumental.
Charlotte B. – Canada
After years of anxiety that didn’t fully respond to mindfulness or CBT, I felt like something deeper needed attention. I stumbled on Wooden House from a Reddit recommendation. This course felt like peeling back layers I’d armored myself with. I didn’t know I was carrying guilt, unmet needs, and anger — but they all surfaced safely in these sessions. I’m more grounded now, and for the first time in years, less scared of my emotions.
Finn R. – Australia
I took this course after losing my father. The grief was confusing — delayed, disconnected — and I didn’t know what I was feeling most days. The therapist didn’t rush me. Instead, we sat with the silences, the metaphors, the things I couldn’t say yet. Over ten weeks, I softened. The pain is still there, but now I feel like I can hold it — and understand how it shaped me.
Gabriel M. – France
Coming from a culture where we don’t always express emotions openly, I was nervous about sharing. But Wooden House felt safe the moment I walked in. The sessions helped me understand how much I’d internalized perfectionism, fear of rejection, and why I kept people at a distance. This process was emotional but deeply human. I came out with more self-compassion than I’ve ever had before.
