WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY

Lila S. – Melbourne
I joined the Floating Sound Bath after months of tightness and grief from losing my mother. Floating in the warm water while the sound waves rippled through me was surreal — I had never felt such a deep letting go. A friend mentioned Wooden House in a wellness forum, and something about their soft, respectful approach drew me in. The therapist explained everything calmly beforehand and held the space beautifully. By the third session, my body felt weightless even on land, and for the first time in a year, I slept through the night.

The Immersive Gong Bath at Wooden House was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. I’d been in a fog of overthinking and anxiety after leaving a high-stress job, and nothing seemed to clear my mind. I saw the program shared in a Bangkok expat Facebook group and decided to give it a shot. The gongs weren’t just sound — they were like deep waves shaking loose mental clutter I didn't even know I had. The space was simple, serene, and the therapist helped me find clarity with a post-session grounding technique that I still use now.
Sophie M. – Paris
I was burned out and emotionally flat after months of overwork and poor sleep. A friend in Chiang Mai sent me the Wooden House link, and I booked the classic Tibetan Bowl Sound Bath on a whim. The wooden interiors, dim lights, and soft energy of the group (only six people that evening) felt immediately comforting. As the sounds moved through the room, I found myself breathing deeper than I had in weeks. It was gentle but profound — I left feeling emotionally balanced and clear-headed, without even trying to “work” on anything.
Hiroshi T. – Tokyo
The Facial LED Sound Bath was my treat to myself after a painful breakup and a long bout of self-neglect. I found Wooden House while Googling healing retreats in Bangkok and was intrigued by the idea of combining skin and soul care. Lying down with soft vibrations filling the air and a subtle LED glow on my face was more calming than any spa I’ve tried. The therapist checked in thoughtfully before and after, giving me space to just be. I walked out with a brighter face and a lighter heart — both literally and emotionally.
Amara D. – Cape Town
Recovering from trauma, I often feel hyper-aware of my body and surroundings. I was nervous to try group sound healing, but someone I met at a yoga class mentioned Wooden House’s smaller groups and sensitive facilitation. I chose the classic Sound Bath and felt safe from the moment I stepped into the space. The session was not overwhelming — it felt like my nervous system was being slowly soothed, layer by layer. I appreciated that the therapist gave options and reminded us to listen to our own boundaries. I’m returning next week for the Floating Sound Bath.
Elena R. – Buenos Aires
I travel a lot for work and live mostly on screens. I’d read about gong healing but never tried it until I found Wooden House on Google Maps looking for something close by. I joined the Immersive Gong Bath and was honestly blown away — not just by the sound but by how it physically moved through me. It quieted my brain in ways I hadn’t felt since childhood. The therapist explained the journey beforehand so I knew what to expect. The space was quiet, clean, and grounded. I left with a sense of inner stillness that lasted for days.
Fatima A. – Dubai
While transitioning careers and dealing with a move, I felt unanchored. The Floating Sound Bath called to me because I wanted something immersive but soft. I found Wooden House through Instagram and liked their minimal, non-commercial vibe. The session was held in warm water, with low light and resonant bowls echoing through the pool — it felt like being in the womb, safe and undisturbed. The therapist stayed nearby, calmly guiding the session. It was a turning point in reconnecting to myself during a chaotic life phase.
