WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY

I’ve lived with anxiety and emotional numbness since childhood, but I never called it trauma until recently. I found this course through a blog about healing spaces in Bangkok. The tone felt safe — no pressure, just real help — so I booked the free consult and instantly felt seen. The sessions helped me reconnect with my body in a way that felt new. I stopped waking up in panic. I’ve got a long way to go, but for the first time, I’m not doing it alone or blindly.

I came to this therapy after surviving a car crash two years ago. I was always on edge, hyper-aware, and couldn’t concentrate. Friends said I seemed “fine,” but I was mentally exhausted all the time. Wooden House was recommended in a mental wellness group, and the setting itself helped me breathe easier. The CBT approach didn’t feel intrusive — it helped me name and untangle the fear loops I’d been living in. I now sleep better and trust my body again.

I had been stuck in patterns of self-isolation and overreaction for years — all rooted in a toxic relationship I left long ago. When I saw this course on Instagram, the words “you are not your trauma” really hit me. I booked the full 10 sessions, and they were gentle but transformative. The therapist helped me rebuild emotional boundaries, not just mentally but physically. I feel clearer, less afraid of being triggered, and far more in control of how I respond now.

At first, I didn’t think my past counted as trauma — I didn’t have a single event, just a childhood of emotional neglect and unpredictability. But it had shaped everything: my reactions, my relationships, my sense of worth. I signed up for the free consult on a friend’s recommendation and ended up doing all 10 sessions. It changed how I relate to my own story. I’m calmer now, not so reactive or guilt-ridden. For the first time, I feel like the past isn’t driving me.

I had tried talk therapy before but kept hitting a wall — too much emotional flooding, not enough grounding. This course at Wooden House was different. The therapist was incredibly skilled in helping me stay safe while processing heavy memories. I appreciated the balance between structure and softness. We worked with triggers, body awareness, and practical skills. Now I finally understand what emotional regulation means — and how to feel safe without numbing.
Isabelle C. – Canada
Trauma from an abusive past had left me emotionally shut down for years. Relationships felt impossible, and I didn’t trust anyone — including myself. I found this program through a Reddit thread and was drawn to how calm and confidential it sounded. The therapist didn’t force anything. We built safety first, then slowly moved into the deeper work. It wasn’t always easy, but by the final session, I was able to name what happened and let go of the shame attached to it.
Anna K. – Switzerland
After a series of medical complications and one traumatic hospital experience, I became afraid of my own body. I couldn’t relax, couldn’t breathe deeply, and felt emotionally frozen. I found Wooden House through a friend and decided to take the full CBT course. The location helped — it didn’t feel clinical. Just sitting in that space helped regulate my system. With each session, I felt more grounded. I’ve learned to notice when my fear hijacks me, and now I know how to return to myself gently.
