WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY

Evelyn T. – United States
After my last relapse, I felt like a ghost in my own life. I avoided social settings and barely left my apartment. A caregiver found Wooden House online, and we decided to try the therapy course. What stood out was the quiet respect — I was never pushed, only invited. Ten sessions later, I now walk to the café around the corner, make eye contact, and even rejoined my art group. It’s not a miracle—it’s steady change.
Thomas R. – United Kingdom
Living with schizophrenia has meant years of feeling misunderstood. Most therapy felt clinical or detached, but this place was different. Wooden House felt more like a healing space than a medical office. The therapist helped me gently practice speaking again, navigating public transport, and managing social triggers. Each session felt like a small win. I no longer fear being around others the way I used to.
Lina K. – Germany
After moving to Thailand with my sister, I felt isolated and afraid to go outside alone. We found Wooden House through a local expat support group. This course gave me tools to manage internal voices and slow down before reacting. I now feel safe walking in the garden or having short conversations with neighbors. These are small steps, but for me, they are everything.
Yuki M. – Japan
I was skeptical at first — too many therapists treated me like a diagnosis. But from the very first session here, I felt human again. We practiced routines like taking public transport, making eye contact, and even joining a group activity nearby. My family says I’m “brighter” now. I just feel seen, and that changes everything.
Charlotte B. – Canada
I had stopped trusting anyone after a series of bad experiences. My brother booked this course without telling me much, and I went in reluctantly. I’m so glad I stayed. The therapist helped me rebuild trust, not just with people but with myself. By session 7, I was back at my favorite bookstore. That felt impossible a few months ago.
Finn S. – Australia
Even when my symptoms were under control, I struggled with constant fear and hesitation. This therapy course helped me understand how to separate real threat from perceived ones. We practiced calming techniques and social confidence skills in a way that was paced for me, not rushed. I feel more grounded now—and more hopeful than I’ve felt in years.
Gabriel L. – France
I hadn’t spoken to anyone outside my family in over six months. A support worker recommended Wooden House, and I took the leap. What I found was a gentle, respectful space that didn’t ask me to be “better” right away. It helped me reconnect at my own rhythm. I’ve started going to the park again—and sometimes, that’s enough.
