Take Positive Steps – 10 Private Therapy Sessions for Mild Depression

Private Therapy Course – Take Positive Steps with Behavioral Activation

Feeling stuck, tired, or emotionally flat? This 10-session private therapy course uses the principles of Behavioral Activation to help you gently rebuild motivation and find forward movement again. Designed for those experiencing mild depression or life stagnation, the course focuses on small, consistent actions that reconnect you with daily meaning — without digging deep into emotional pain.

Instead of overanalyzing the “why,” you’ll focus on building new “hows.” You’ll slowly restructure your day, restore energy through meaningful activity, and learn to manage avoidance or emotional numbness with practical support. Every session is guided by a licensed therapist in a calm, private setting at Wooden House Bangkok.

What's to expect

You’ll begin by identifying your current patterns — what activities drain you, what you’re avoiding, and where your energy naturally flows. From there, you’ll work with your therapist to design small, manageable changes that align with your personal values and goals. These might include morning routines, creative engagement, physical movement, or social reconnection. Each session builds on the last, helping you track progress, navigate emotional resistance, and gently rewire your days for more presence and purpose. The goal is not perfection — it’s movement. By the end of the course, you’ll have a clearer structure, a more stable rhythm, and the confidence to keep choosing progress, one step at a time.

Frequent Asked Questions

Do I need a clinical diagnosis to join this course?

No. This course is suitable for anyone experiencing low mood, emotional fatigue, or mild depressive symptoms — whether or not you have an official diagnosis.

Unlike therapies that focus heavily on analyzing emotions or the past, Behavioral Activation helps you take practical action in the present. It focuses on creating structure, building positive habits, and helping you feel better through daily momentum.

You can share at your own pace, but the focus is on action rather than deep emotional processing. Sessions are goal-oriented, supportive, and tailored to your comfort level.

Yes. If you’re currently seeing another therapist or receiving medical support, this course can complement your healing journey. Please let us know during your free pre-consultation so we can align the approach.

Some people feel more motivated within a few sessions, while others take longer depending on their situation. The goal isn’t instant change, but steady improvement you can sustain after the course ends.

WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY

Grace H. – United States
I wasn’t in crisis, but I also wasn’t okay. I had this low-level heaviness that made everything feel pointless. This course helped me move again — not through big changes, but through consistency. The therapist helped me focus on doing one small thing at a time. I started sleeping better. Then walking. Then cooking. It’s weird how small changes added up, but they did.
Edward P. – United Kingdom
I didn’t want deep, emotional therapy. I just needed to feel alive again. Behavioral Activation was a perfect fit. No pressure to “go deep” — just gentle encouragement to reconnect with things that bring joy. I started reading again. I reconnected with a friend. I even picked up painting. And somehow, I don’t feel like I’m stuck anymore.
Lina T. – Germany
After moving to Thailand, I lost a bit of my routine and fell into a strange emotional slump. This course helped me reconnect with structure — but without judgment or guilt. The therapist made it feel okay to be exactly where I was. Each week, I built something back. A rhythm. A sense of purpose. I’m still building, but now I have momentum.
Haruto K. – Japan
I used to think therapy was just for people in serious pain, but this course changed that. It was about functioning again. I was showing up at work, smiling — but feeling numb inside. The sessions were warm, kind, and practical. Slowly I started enjoying things again. Even something as simple as planning my weekend felt like a win.
Sophie B. – Canada
What I appreciated most was that this wasn’t “talk therapy.” It was action-oriented. I didn’t have to explain my past — I just had to show up and try something new. The therapist helped me build new routines, step by step, and now I feel like I have more control over my mood. This wasn’t a dramatic transformation. It was quiet, steady healing — exactly what I needed.
Oscar M. – Australia
I joined this course during a time when I felt emotionally flat — not sad exactly, just disconnected. I didn’t want to talk about my childhood or trauma, I just wanted to feel like myself again. What worked was the simplicity. I had a plan each week, and small goals that felt doable. Slowly, things started to shift.
Theo L. – France
This was my first experience with therapy, and I was nervous it would be too intense. But the pace was gentle. My therapist really listened and gave me actions that made sense for my life. Some weeks were hard, but having that space helped me stop overthinking and start doing. I feel more balanced now — like I have direction again.
